ELKS Scholarships
LEGACY AWARD: any child or grandchild (or step-child, step-grandchild, or legal ward) of a living Elk who joined the order on or before April 1, 2014, or a charter member of a Lodge that was instituted on or after April 1, 2014, is eligible to apply. The Elk must also be a paid-up member through March 31, 2017. Great-grandchildren are not eligible. MOST VALUABLE STUDENT SCHOLARSHIP: Any high school senior who is a citizen of the United States is eligible to apply. Applicants need not be related to a member of the Elks. College students are not eligible to apply. Applicants must be citizens of the United States on the date their applications are signed; permanent legal resident status does not qualify. ELKS LODGE #1367 MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP AND THE WNCC SCHOLARSHIPS: Must be used at WNCC, up to fifteen awards, ranging from $400-$1,500. Please see Ms. Dunn for an application.
NEBRASKA ELKS ASSOCIATION VOCATONAL SCHOLARSHIP GRANT: These are open to high school seniors who plan to attend a Trade School, Technical School or Community College. The applicant must plan to attend a two year or less vocational-technical program for an associate degree. Please see Ms. Dunn for an application.

White Owl Scholarship
UNK has a $500 scholarship for a MALE. Please see Ms. Dunn for more information.
NMC and Central Community College
NMC, in partnership with the Diesel Technology Program at Central Community College in Hastings, NE, offers a two-year sponsorship at NMC Cat locations in NE. Please visit NMCs website or see Ms. Dunn for more information.
Jim Hurlbert Memorial Baseball Scholarship
Eligibility is open to Nebraska American Legion Baseball players in their last year of Legion Baseball eligibility and/or graduating senior. Applicants must attend school in Nebraska and must have maintained a GPA in the upper 50 percent of his/her graduating class. Deadline is June 15, 2017. Please see Ms. Dunn for an application.
2017 Minutemen Scholarship
Must currently be in the Nebraska National Guard or eligible for enlistment. Please see Ms. Dunn for more information.
Nebraska Cooperative Council Education Foundation Scholarship
Applicant must be a dependent of a parent or guardian who is the member of a cooperative in good standing as a member of the Nebraska Cooperative Council for at least 5 years (such as PREMA or WESTCO). The application is only online at www.nebr.coop/foundation/scholarships
Nursing Schools Almanac
This scholarship is open to all high school seniors who plan to pursue college education in nursing, including LPN/LVN, ADN and BSN programs. Scholarship applications will be accepted until midnight on June 30, 2017. Please visit www.nursingschoolsalmanac.com for more information and the application.
Marine Corp Scholarship Foundation
MCSF scholarships are for children of Marines and Navy Corpsmen pursuing a post-secondary education at any accredited school. It is open year round and students can apply at www.mcsf.org/cte.
Regional West Foundation
Applicant must be pursuing a career in laboratory medicine. The recipient of the scholarship will be determined based on academic performance, interest/experience in healthcare, and financial need. Deadline is April 30, 2017. Please see Ms. Dunn for an application.
Nebraska Walleye Trail Scholarship
Applicant must have a 2.5 GPA or higher, attend a college in Nebraska, and answer an essay question. Please see Ms. Dunn for an application. Deadline is May 15, 2017.
Triangle Fraternity Scholarship
Applicant must be a STEM(Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) focused student who will be attending UNL in Fall of 2017. More information and applications may be found at www.triangleunl.org. Deadline is May 15, 2017.
James P. Comeford Memorial Scholarship
Applicant must be attending the University of Nebraska at Kearney, have a 3.0 GPA in high school. Deadline is July 31, 2017. Please see Ms. Dunn for an application.
Eda Hempel, Point of Rock Chapter, Daughters of the American Revolution Scholarship
Applicant must be obtaining a degree in history, education, social sciences, business or any other related field. Deadline is June 12, 2017. Please see Ms. Dunn for an application.
